All hail Biafra, IPOB supporters celebrate as Nnamdi Kanu regains freedom

On Friday, April 28, pro-Biafra agitator and leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu was released from Kuje prison after meeting his bail conditions.

NAIJ.com gathered that Kanu was reportedly granted bail based on health issues by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

There were unusual tension and security presence at Kuje prison as Kanu was released after almost two years in detention.

He was driven out of the detention facility by former transportation minister Osita Chidoka.
