1. NAIJ.com Weekly Price Check: Prices of perishable goods soar after dollar fall
The return of President Muhammadu Buhari to the country after a 51-day absence seems not to have yielded any positive result on the prices of goods in the market, NAIJ.com has confirmed.
Business owners and traders at some of the major markets in Lagos state also continued to decry poor sales and increment in the price of some basic food items, despite fall of the dollar against the Nigerian currency.

Sahara Reporters reports that after buying the house, he spruced it up with N120million before handing it over to the actress.
The actress had showcased the property, which has two duplexes last year on Instagram.
The property is located on Alabi Street, off Okey Okeke Drive in Arowojobe Estate in the Mende-Maryland area of Lagos.
When contacted, Eweje said he sold the duplex before 2013 but he has no idea to whom the house was sold or who the present occupant is as the transaction was handled by his lawyers.
3. National Assembly Clerk slumps and dies at NASS complex
A National Assembly Clerk, Mohammed Shuaibu, reportedly slumped and died at the National Assembly complex, Abuja, on Monday, March 13.
Vanguard reports that he was walking on a staircase at about 12pm when he suddenly slumped.
Late Shuaibu who hails from Zaria, Kaduna state, was rushed to the National Assembly clinic for medical attention where he was confirmed dead by the doctors.
His remains have been taken to his hometown for burial.

The Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday, March 13, said he has handed over to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Speaking to State House correspondents after a meeting with the president, Osinbajo said he has formally handed over power to Buhari.
The vice president noted that his meeting with the president which lasted for over one hour was focused on economy, budget, North-East, and many other national issues.

President Muhammadu Buhari returned from the United Kingdom after a 49-days medical vacation on Friday, March 10.
Upon arrival, the president while speaking to top government officials at the Presidential Villa said he came back on a Friday to allow the vice president Yemi Osinbajo continue in his capacity as the acting president.
On Monday, March 13, signed a letter of resumption to the National Assembly.
Subsequently, the president on his offcial Facebook page said he is delighted to be back to work.
