Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez was caught smiling on the bench during their 5-1 thumping at the hands of Bayern Munich on Tuesday, March 8.

Sanchez was withdrawn in the second half and watched from the bench as Bayern Munich dominated Arsenal for the rest of the game.

While on the bench, the 28-year-old was filmed having a smiling while chatting with teammate Petr Cech.

This comes after he was dropped from Arsenal’s starting line-up in their 3-1 loss to Liverpool on Saturday, March 4.

The drop came after he reportedly had a bust-up with his teammate in training although Wenger has denied the reports.

The unsettled Sanchez who has fallen out with manager Arsene Wenger and most of his teammates is set to quit the club in the summer.

It is understood that the striker has told the club that he will be leaving in the summer.

Arsenal have also told the strike he cannot sign for a Premier League rival to avoid a situation similar to that of Robin van Persie who left to join Manchester United where he fired them to the Premier League title in 2013.

The former Barcelona player is no likely to sign for Paris Saint-Germain who are willing to offer him a weekly wage of £300,000.

Juventus are also interested in the former Udinese forward.
