There seems to be a political undertone in the publicity given to President Muhammadu Buhari's vacation and Professor Yemi Osinbajo successful moves after the former had left for London to treat an undisclosed ailment. It is not doubtful that this must be part of Buhari politics playing out.

OPINION: Buhari's vacation more of politics that health issues

I am quite sure Buhari's vacation is more than just the health issue, which is of course very important but also includes a political move.

These are some of the reasons Buhari mighty opted for vacation to allow his deputy take charge:

1. Buhari has been blackmailed from all angles therefore roping his hands to exercise his full powers.

2. Buhari understands that the "economic recession" has been attached to his name. So he needs a new name in front to play his game for him.

3. Buhari must have understood well that almost half the population of Nigeria is not happy hearing his name.

So the wise person decides to go on vacation. I must say, that's clever and Osinbajo should keep the good work. All enemies of progress in Nigeria must be killed and flushed out. May Allah grant you a sound health Mr President. (Ameen) We really hope to see you soon!
