Legendary Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has disclosed Barcelona striker Luis Suarez requested his shirt during a pre-season match against Barcelona.
Jamie Vardy’s autobiography, “From Nowhere”, is set to be released and details forward’s rise from non-league to EPL champion and now he can add another honour to his growing list.
The EPL champions played against Barcelona in August and the star expected his tea-mates to clamour for moments from the Spanish giants while he preferred to avoid the hussle of a shirt swap.

However, it was Luis Suarez who approached him for his own piece of memorabilia.
Vardy said: “When we played Barcelona pre-season, I knew the lads would all be trying to get a shirt, so I weren’t gonna ask anyone. Then, coming in at half-time, Luis Suarez asked if he could have mine.”
