In reality, there is no such thing as luck.
Dear son of mine,
Pay heed to these words of mine
For they will be to thee a gold mine,
And misfortune will not cross thy line.
There is no such thing as luck,
except that which keeps one under lock,
There is no such thing as luck,
Except that which is the reward of hard work.
Hard work, and its friend diligence
Pay attention to the two with no negligence,
And wealth will be yours if you have prudence
Listen carefully and apply my words with sense.
Dear son of mine,
Please love hard work
Because
There is no such thing as luck.
