It would be recalled the management of Akwa United decided to promote Dokubo to head the team after their 1 – 0 home loss to Enyimba in Uyo, and immediately suspended Cooreman.
The new technical crew has been issued a three-match ultimatum to prove themselves, otherwise they will be fired.
MFM FC are ninth on the log, one point ahead of Akwa United, who occupy the tenth position
Ahead of the game, Dokubo stated that his team will not lose to the new-comers, adding that a win for his side is very much possible.
“We are here in a Lagos, very well prepared,” he started. “Although, we lost our last game at home to Enyimba, and if that could happen, nothing stops us from winning away from home as well,” he told NAIJ.com Sports.
