President Muhammadu Buhari has urged investors in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to come and invest in Nigeria where they would make profits from returns on investments within the shortest possible time.
Femi Adesina, the spokesperson of the president disclosed that Buhari made the statement on Monday, April 8, when he met with six different groups of investors at the sidelines of the annual investment meeting in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

“Come to Nigeria and prosper. Come and have handsome returns on your investments, within the shortest possible time,” Buhari was quoted to have said.
Adesina stated that some of the investors who met with the president expressed the intention of doing business in Nigeria.
Among them he said was Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum, a member of the Dubai ruling family who is also a private investor. He noted that Sheikh Maktoum said he is interested in establishing a power plant in Lagos.
Adesina said another potential investor who is keen on investing in Nigeria is Sheikh Ali Rashid Lootah who serves as the chairman of Nakheel Properties and Limitless Group.

The presidential aide noted that Nakheel Properties and Limitless Group is one of the world's leading developers and a major contributor to Dubai's real estate transformation.
Adesina said another interested investor was Jitender Sachdeva, the CEO Skipperseil Group, an integrated energy company with operations in the manufacturing of substation equipment, who was delighted at meeting with President Buhari, looked forward to doing good business in Nigeria.
